Bernard R. Sacks has had an exciting and varied career. While he now is a practicing attorney, he previously worked as an engineer for the federal government. During that time
he had been involved in eliminating water pollution in the states of Rhode Island, Connecticut and Massachusetts. Mr. Sacks devoted many hours to eliminate water pollution in Boston Harbor. He also
worked on cleaning up Raritan Bay in New Jersey and industrial waste in the South Platte River in northeastern Colorado.
Mr. Sacks has Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science in chemical engineering and a Doctor of Juris Prudence in law. He also has been very active in civic affairs.
Mr. Sacks never forgets that his primary responsibility is to his client. Caring for his clients has resulted in clients requesting him directly especially when other attorneys do
not want to take their cases. Judges have complemented him that he made cases understandable and been helpful in their formulating decisions.
Fellow lawyers and judges, as well as clients, respect Mr. Sacks. Judges have asked him personally to represent clients. It should be noted that many of his clients have been
repeat clients.
Bernard Sacks has been both a sole practitioner and a defense attorney. He has been able to devote as much time as he determines and needs to represent his clients and what they
deserve. He takes a case from beginning to end, from bail arguments to trials. He files motions, requests discovery, prepares, has interrogatories, reviews reports, interviews witnesses, pleas bargains,
negotiations mediations and defends his clients. He works with the client and together they determine the best approach for their representation. The clients are well informed of the approach. Mr.
Sacks investigates the cases, either personally or through an investigator. Mr. Sacks always makes himself available to his clients.
Mr. Sacks is knowledgeable about the law and does research when necessary. He is licensed in Texas, Massachusetts and the federal system.
